Your Dutch Way  - Privacy & Cookie statement

Since the 25th of may 2018 there is a law AVG (Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming) in the Netherlands in order.

When you visit my website www.yourdutchway.nl, to make an appointment in my agenda, or when you contact me, you share (personal) data with me. I handle this data with care. In this privacy and cookie statement you can read which information I save and how it is used.

I am Maayke Griffioen. I collect data since June 2023 from people that visit the website, fill in the contact form, contact me by email or phone, or make an appointment directly in the agenda.
My company, Your Dutch Way, is located at Nico Steenvoordenstraat 23 in Noordwijk, registerd in the Dutch Chamber of Commerce with number 88672751, is responsible for the processing of (personal) data as stated in this privacy statement.

This privacy statement applies to all interaction between you and me (Your Dutch Way).
The data that Your Dutch Way collects if you make an appointment or use a service: Email, name and phone number and your message.
Your Dutch Way uses your data for (direct) marketing, when you gave your explicit permission to do so. You can always unsubscribe.

www.yourdutchway.nl contains social media buttons from Meta (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and possible other links to third-party websites, p.e. my agenda (Calendly). The privacy policy of the specific platform applies to that link and not to this statement.

Your Dutch Way collects the following from customers:
Name, address, company (if relevant), phone number and email.
Information that is relevant for the training, such as starting date and payment and previous participations.

The purpose of data collection by Your Dutch Way:
Administration for the training, and be able to handle your payment.
Information by email that also include tips about learning Dutch.
Staying in touch with former customers.

Your Dutch Way does not collect any special personal data, such as religion, or ethnic origin.
Your Dutch Way does not share any information with third partners. All information is protected and not accessible by strangers.
Also topics that may come up during navigation sessions are strictly confidential.

People that are on the mailing lists can easily unsubscribe at any time, send an email to [email protected] or click on unsubscribe in the email.
To submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) you have to fill in the form on their website.

Your Dutch Way uses functional, tracking & social media related cookies. By placing cookies, I can make the structure, navigation on my website and the content of my website as user- friendly as possible.

Functional cookies are used to make this website function as well as possible. Functional cookies are necessary for the functioning of this website. The cookies are used to store settings for an optimal display, read out your browser settings in order to optimally display this website on your screen, load the website evenly, so that the site remains easily accessible.

Tracking cookies such as pixels of Instagram and Facebook, follow your visit to my website in order to build a profile of my website visitors;
